Kilsyth Cobras vs- Dandenong Rangers

Round 16 week of 28/07/2002

Clubs representing the south and east conferences meet this week in regional match play with the Dandenong Rangers taking on the Kilsyth Cobras. These two teams met in week 2 with Kilsyth coming up on the winning side but many changes have been made to both teams rosters since the last match. 208cm Simon Conn for Dandenong and veteran 201cm Nick Tenner for Kilsyth will have to be ready to contribute to give their respective clubs the advantage for a victory. The key match up to watch will be the play between NBL player 204cm David Cooper who leads the east conference in block shots (3.1 per match) along with rebounding (14.5 per match) and 202cm Keith Bridges of Kilsyth who is ranked among the top ten players in several categories in the south conference making him one of the most versatile players in the league that can do many tasks on the court. The battle between Cooper and Bridges will make for a very entertaining match.
