Kilsyth Cobras vs- Hobart Chargers
Round 7 week of 26/05/2002
The chargers
will head to the mainland to do battle in the Snake Pit with the Cobras of Kilsyth. The chargers boast two of the best rebounding
combinations of the South Conference in veterans NBL player David Biwer (14.4 rpg) and the massive Willie Joseph (12.5 rpg)
along side NBL player Andrew Beattie and import Cory Schwab. Kilsyth comes into the match with one constant rebounding threat
in 202cm US import Keith Bridges. Bridges is often matched up against much larger players but yet uses his versatility and
seasoned experienced to get the better of opponents on defence and offence. For the Cobras to be successful in this match,
youngsters Gerard Leonard and 204 cm Aaron Littlepage must contribute throughout.
Kilsyth
( Bridges 30, Leonard 23, Taylor 20)
Hobart
( Schwab 30, Beattie 29, Biwer 17)
MVP: K. Bridges / C. Schwab
